If you have a vehicle that is more than 3 years old it will need an MOT test each year to ensure that it meets at least the minimum road safety and environmental standards.

We need a little bit of notice when booking your vehicle for repairs or servicing but usually you can get a same day booking for an MOT test as we are quite flexible with MOT bookings. If your MOT certificate has expired, please let us know when you make your booking and we will ask you for your registration number. Providing your car is insured and you are booked in, you are entitled to drive to and from the mot station even though your mot has expired.

If your vehicle is due for its first mot we advise that you bring with you your registration document (V5). This can save any problems that may occur when it comes to entering the vehicle details into the DVLA computer system. Usually the system will already have the details but it is best to bring it just in case.

If your vehicle fails to past the MOT test we can quote for and carry out any repairs to get your car back on the road. We have an overnight safe facility available for secure out of hours drop off and collection.

Remember - The test certificate relates only to the condition of the testable items at the time of the test and should not be regarded as evidence of their condition at any other time; nor should it be accepted as evidence of the general mechanical condition of the vehicle.
